Prunier-Damy Philippe

The Domaine has been operated in Auxey-Duresses for several generations with one driving force: respect for the Terroirs and for wines of high quality. For several years already, Phillippe has chosen to implement environmentally-friendly techniques, working the soils to protect the environment. The grapes reach perfect maturity, and are destemmed so as to allow a perfect expression of roundess. The fruit expresses itself fully in these wines, with purity and balance. Ageing in oak barrels, for differing lengths of time depending on the appellation, allows the density of the wines to come through. In 2008, the Domaine renovated an outhouse which has now been transformed into a 4-person cottage which can be rented by the week, weekend or night.
