Town, village, neighbourhood at Nolay

An important town in the Hautes-Côtes de Beaune, it’s the first wine village when approaching from the west. The through road gives no idea of its beautiful historic centre where the 14th-century Halles with their lava roof, the 15th-century church and its bell-strikers dominate its modern square surrounded by restaurants. Its streets contain beautiful medieval houses, the setting for art galleries and shops. Home of the Grand Carnot, Nolay comes alive throughout the year, with exhibitions, concerts and festivals rich in emotions.
